Yesterday the 1,2,3 GO closing evening took place in the Cité Miroir in Liège. In front of a full house 14 selected projects were showcased through short videos and awarded a 4000-euro prize.
The 1,2,3 GO competition, that has rewarded entrepreneurial projects for the past fifteen years, is jointly coordinated by the non-for-profit nyuko in Luxembourg and its local partners in the Greater Region. This year, applications skyrocketed and the number of selected projects to attend the closing event has reached record heights. Maximilien Schuh, in charge of 1,2,3 GO is thrilled “We worked in close collaboration with our local partners to attract outstanding projects from every region”.
Didier Clarinval from the Enterprise and Innovation Agency (Belgium), introduced this evening dedicated to entrepreneurship. Next, Philippe Ledent, the president of the economic and social committee of the Greater Region took the floor to illustrate the opportunities and challenges for entrepreneurs acting in the Greater Region. Later the selected projects were showcased to the crowd through short videos and awarded a 4000-euro prize from the sponsors of the competition. The sponsors’ favorite prize was given to Hytchers, a Belgian startup specializing in parcel transportation. Nicolas Buck, president of nyuko, closed the evening.

All the projects, held by either professionals or passionate amateurs, were warmly applauded by the audience. “The Greater Region is a unique development space offering those who want to take on an entrepreneurial path advise of various professional actors.
