The Ireland Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce launched its 3rd Innovation Contest in March. After a selection of the finalists, the pitching event took place last Monday at Lux Future Lab. The contest is based loosely on the Dragon’s Den concept of pitching ideas to potential investors with market experience.
The selected entrepreneurs were invited to pitch their project in front of a panel of “Dragons”, each for a maximum of 5 minutes. During the next 5-10 minutes, the Dragons can ask questions to better understand the business concept. This year the Dragons were a team of seasoned experts of entrepreneurship, investment, etc. The judges were
- Paul Barreveld (Entreprise Ireland)
- Larissa Best (LBAN)
- Martin Guérin (nyuko)
- Alan Ridgway (ILCC)
- Karin Schintgen (Lux Future Lab)
