A speed coaching session, a conference and a pitch battle wrapped up in one afternoon: this was the vitaminized program setup by nyuko on last February 3rd.
Organized by nyuko, the event of last February 3rd gathered different important activities of the association and its 1,2,3 GO support program. First, the wannabe entrepreneurs had the opportunity to challenge their ideas with experienced coaches during speed coaching sessions. Each entrepreneur benefited from three 30-minute sessions with different coaches. One way to widen expertise and insights to better address the hypothesis of their business model. The entrepreneurs were thus able to present their ideas, ask their questions and get valuable advice on best practices and pitfalls to avoid.
The advantages of being a both a student and an entrepreneur
After these fruitful meetings, the participants could attend a conference delivered by Martin Guérin, CEO of nyuko, about the advantages of starting a business while being a student. As a former entrepreneurship teacher at the ESSEC Paris, Martin Guérin caught the interest of the young people invited.
Keeping this entrepreneurial momentum, the conference was followed by a pitch battle: 6 teams of student entrepreneurs presented their startup project. The battle was an excellent public-speaking and pitching exercise for these students from the PeeL (Pôle Entrepreneuriat Etudiant de Lorraine) and the Université Catholique de Louvain.
